December 31st
Not a lot of gardening this month, lots of rain, gales, and mother ended up in hospital after three falls, back out on Christmas eve.

So here is a small month to month preview of the garden during 2013.

January

Part of Lyn's garden top dressed and all the Clematis Pruned.
My Exotic garden doesn't exist till May, most of the plants are under cover.

February

Early bulbs beginning to flower

March

Clematis budding up.

April

Lots of Spring bulbs in flower now.

May

Green time in Lyn's garden. The Spring bulbs are dying back.

June

Early June and Lyn's garden has grown up, a few summer flowerers beginning to show colour.

The plants are all out in the Exotic garden, it looks fairly bare at the moment, but they will grow !

July

The path to the front door in Lyn's garden, even the postman said what a nice garden to deliver the mail through.

Just a short time to sit in the warmth of summer, the Exotic garden making a nice view.

August

Plenty of flowers in Lyn's garden.

The Brugmansias in the Exotic garden didn't flower at their best during the summer, it was just too hot. Up to 30c

September

The shadows are beginning to get longer as Autumn approaches, but in Lyn's garden there are still a lot of late flowers.

Cooler weather brought the Brugmansias back into full flower.

October

Small but beautiful flowers still appearing in Lyn's garden.

But in the Exotic garden in late October, it is time to start moving plants back into their homes for the winter.

November

Grasses and the changing colour of leaves, replace the flowers in Lyn's garden.

And Exotic plants brought under cover continue to flower.

December

Well I didn't take any pictures in the garden, but I can tell you it is very wet out there. I have divided up about 40 Monardas and
potted them up, starting to top up our plant stall for 2014.
The Spring bulbs have started to show their leaves, ready for a new year in the garden.

Best wishes to all who read this blog, and have a lovely time in the new year, in your own garden.
