After a two week holiday in Spain, walking, birding and relaxing a bit !, we have spent the last two weeks trying to catch up.
The day after we arrived home, we were down at the allotment putting potatoes in.
Then at home after tidying the garden, we sowed lots of seed in the propagator, some for the allotment and the rest for the garden.
My Dahlias in pots have been outside in the sun most of the time since returning home, and they are now way bigger than at any time in the past, for this time of year.
Several nights have been just above freezing, but I have been able to just fleece over them.
This coming week is supposed to get colder with frost at night for three days. They might have to come in under shelter.
We have now caught up with the bigger jobs that needed doing, the last was over the weekend, power washing the paths and patio.
Lyn hates me doing this job, as it creates it's own mess. I usually do it when Lyn is out. But she wasn't this time!
Just a few of the pictures from the garden in the last two weeks.
